“ARKHÉ “

(70 × 120 cm · 82 × 140 cm · 100 × 170 cm)

*

In a timeless moment, deep within ARKHÉ, a space unfolded where matter and time had not yet separated.

This space was neither a beginning nor an end; it was an interface where the first principle took form.

There were people whose faces were concealed by masks.

Each carried a role—some warriors, some sages, some guardians.

Through these masks they presented themselves, taking part in social games.

Yet behind the masks, who they truly were was unknown—perhaps even to themselves.

Among them wandered a small child.

With an undivided perception, the child touched everything, playing with the hourglass through invisible strings.

While playing, the child did not know what time meant; there was no past or future—only presence within the moment.

In the distance sat a bird and a white, deer-like creature.

The animals were embodiments of instinct and the undivided essence.

While humans wore masks, they appeared as they were.

The bird observed its surroundings; the deer remained connected to the soil and its roots.

For them, there was no time—only being.

In one corner, beneath the hourglass, a faceless figure sat in silence.

It wore no mask and took no part in the game.

Still, motionless, and serene.

It watched everything without intervening.

This figure was the witness—the observing aspect of consciousness, seeing without labeling what occurs.

The hourglass stood at the very center of the space.

Its sands did not flow; time itself seemed suspended.

The face inside the glass symbolized the part of consciousness trapped within time,

and as the figure standing above lowered invisible strings, a bridge formed between the upper and lower layers.

From the ground, roots extended, plants sprouted, white flowers bloomed.

These roots reached from the deepest layers of consciousness toward the surface.

Somewhere, a vast eye gazed upon a form curled like an embryo—

the moment of a new self or thought coming into being.

There was also a hand holding a mask.

Its owner was unseen—perhaps it was each of us.

The mask passed from hand to hand, an object anyone could choose to wear or remove.

All these figures, events, and symbols were not fragments of a linear story.

They were different manifestations of the first principle.

They revealed that time, identity, nature, play, and witnessing can exist simultaneously, in the same place.

The masked and the unmasked, the child and the animal, the hourglass itself—

all were elements of a single field.

And so the story ended—or perhaps never ended at all.

ARKHÉ remained, as the first principle that makes everything possible.

If one day the masked removes the mask,

if the child leaves the game and approaches the witness,

if the hourglass begins to flow again…

all these transformations will still occur within the same field.

Because this story does not point toward an ending,

but toward continuous being—

not as a narrative, but as a field of existence.
