Bazı ölümler görünmez. Toprak üstünde hiçbir şey değişmemiştir; beden yürür, konuşur, üretir. Ama merkez geri çekilmiştir. Ses hâlâ vardır, fakat yankı yoktur. Işık hâlâ görünür, fakat ısı kaybolmuştur. Lazarus tam burada başlar. Bir mezarda değil, bir iç boşlukta. Askıya alınmış bir bilinç hâlinde.

Lazarus ölümü temsil etmez. Unutuşu temsil eder. Öz ile form arasındaki mesafenin açılmasını temsil eder. Kişi kendi merkezinden uzaklaştığında, kimlikler çoğalır. Maskeler belirir.

Some deaths are invisible. Nothing has changed above ground; the body walks, speaks, produces. Yet the center has withdrawn. The voice is still there, but there is no echo. The light is still visible, but the warmth is gone. Lazarus begins exactly here. Not in a tomb, but in an inner void. In a suspended state of consciousness.

Lazarus does not represent death. It represents forgetting. It represents the widening distance between essence and form. When one drifts away from the center, identities multiply. Masks appear. Roles thicken. Layers stack upon one another. And at some point, movement continues while aliveness has receded. That is the moment when what we call death is in fact consciousness placing itself on hold.

This work does not depict a resurrection scene. There is no scream. No miracle. No spectacle. What occurs here is far more silent: vibration. A light appears at the center, yet it does not descend from above; it radiates from within. Not like a command, but like remembrance. It does not force the layers; it begins to dissolve them. It does not shatter the masks; it loosens them. Because resurrection cannot be imposed. Resurrection happens when the call is heard.

The layers of the painting unfold like a diagram of consciousness. The upward flow of color is not ascension, but alignment. The owl carries the knowledge of the night — the ability to see in darkness. The horse signifies the return of movement — energy once suspended coming back into flow. The wolf recalls primal memory — the most ancient awareness of the human being. The egg remains unbroken; because true transformation is not an external rupture, but an internal dissolution. The door is not a grave — it is the threshold itself.

The essential question of Lazarus is this: When does a human truly die? When breath ceases, or when contact with the center is lost? This work whispers the second possibility. Here, death is not the end of existence, but the forgetting of consciousness. And resurrection is not an external intervention, but the re-recognition of the inner light.

The light stretches upward but does not escape. It does not flee to the sky. It remains connected below. This is not a story of escape. It is a story of realignment with the center. On that subtle line between matter and energy, it is consciousness remembering its own density. Because matter is frozen consciousness. And when what is frozen begins to dissolve, movement returns.

Lazarus is not dramatic. Not tragic. Not even hopeful. It is neutral. A state of witnessing. The moment consciousness recognizes itself again. There is no victory and no loss. There is only a recall.

And perhaps the quietest sentence is this:

No center ever dies.

It only withdraws.

This work is the vibration of what has withdrawn returning.

Not a miracle.

A remembrance.
